It is a procedure through which a minimum dose of botulinum toxin is applied using small syringes (insulin), which will paralyze the muscle fiber of the treated area, thereby eliminating those wrinkles that appear with facial movements. It is generally applied to the forehead, between the eyebrows, periocular area, chin, masseter muscle (management of bruxism), thereby achieving a rejuvenated face. The duration of the effect ranges from 4 to 6 months.
